THIS IS MY STORY
Hi, I'm the Public Affairs Specialist for the Arizona Board of Regents. During my time at ABOR, I have been able to tell the stories of Arizona's public universities.
Before the board, I shared and amplified the stories of college tennis at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. I graduated from Texas Tech with a journalism degree. Through my various internships in college - Texas Tech Athletics Communications, KJTV FOX34, and Texas Tech Athletics Broadcast Services - I found my niche. I began working with Texas Tech Athletics on their TV show, The Double T Insider, on FOX Sports Southwest. I worked as the content producer for a year on the show which included directing a team to produce two to three packages a week.
During the three years I worked for Texas Tech Broadcast Services, my favorite moments were the times I was able to tell an athlete's story. I loved my time as the Double T Insider content producer because I was able to sit down and talk with our athletes and coaches to reveal a bit of the person behind the sport. One of my favorite packages to date is my "Day in the Life" pack with one of our volleyball players.

My hands-on experience at Texas Tech has afforded me opportunities to work with several editing software programs - most notably Adobe Premiere Pro. I have worked on packages from all sides of the project - shooting and editing, producing, and interviewing. I am comfortable using Panasonic, Canon, Nikon, and Sony cameras.
I am always looking to expand my knowledge and improve my storytelling. I would love to connect and learn about the industry, so please reach out!

Growing Champions of Life
Armed with a dozen or so forms, a vision and a plan, in 2013, Sloane Stephens began to realize the dream that she started during kitchen chats and phone calls with her longtime best friend, and Sloane Stephens Foundation advisory board member, Lindsay Mulford.
The idea for the Sloane Stephens Foundation (SSF) started when the friends were around 19 years old and were looking for how they could impact their communities and eventually the world. The two quickly realized they could best effect change through tennis. Stephens and Mulford centered in on the reason they love the sport and from there the vision grew.

Gender Exclusivity in Greek Life
Fraternities and sororities have been a facet of the college social life since the nineteenth century, and their existence has not been without objection. The Greeks have been criticized for hazing, binge and underage drinking, promiscuity – and now for gender exclusion.
Harvard University took a step towards a gender-neutral campus in December by implementing sanctions on unrecognized single-gender social organizations.
The policy, while not aimed solely at Greek Life organizations, forces fraternities and sororities to choose between remaining single-gender and forfeiting privileges associated with university affiliation, or becoming gender-neutral.

ITA Announces the 2021 Women’s Collegiate Tennis Hall of Fame Induction Class
The Intercollegiate Tennis Association is delighted to announce the 2021 ITA Women’s Collegiate Tennis Hall of Fame Class. The four-person class includes Diane Donnelly Stone, AnnaMaria Fernandez-Ruffels, Lin Loring, and Lisa Spain Short.
The 2021 Class will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in a ceremony on September 18, 2021. The ceremony will also honor the life of former chair and curator of the Hall of Fame, Millie West. West, a 1998 inductee to the Hall of Fame, was instrumental in securing a permanent location for the Hall of Fame in the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center on the campus of the College of William and Mary.
2020 Oracle ITA Masters by UTR Set for San Diego
The Intercollegiate Tennis Association is thrilled to announce that October 9-11th the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego will host the Oracle ITA Masters by UTR. In keeping with safe play guidelines and local policies, the Masters will be a singles-only event.
“We are ecstatic to host the Oracle ITA Masters at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, California,” Ryan Redondo, Barnes Tennis Center CEO and General Manager said. “The Oracle ITA Masters is annually one of the premier events on the ITA calendar. Youth Tennis San Diego and the Barnes Tennis Center are committed to promoting and growing not only college tennis, but tennis at all levels and we believe this is a perfect partnership for this event.”
